They originally debuted under YG Entertainment as a 7-member group. On June 12, , B. I left the group over alleged drug use reports, leaving the group with six members. On December 29, , the six members left YG Entertainment on good terms, taking the rights to their brand and songs with them. On January 01, , it was announced that they signed a contract with Entertainment agency.

In March their 1st Take OFF world tour was announced and in April of the same year they released their 3rd full album under the same name.
